Isaac Ponzani

Pastor Isaac Ponzani, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on, September 21st, 2021.  He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Adelheid Ponzani, his 3 children; Mattias Ponzani, Michelle Ponzani and Christiana Ponzani as well as two grandchildren whom he adored, Jacob Ponzani and Ariella Ponzani.  He was one of nine cherished siblings born to Pasquale and Carmella Ponzani and is survived by 2 brothers, David Ponzani and Daniel Ponzani.

Brother Isaac was a profound influence on his family and the community with his contributions of faith.  He breathed a sense of patience, wisdom, and selflessness as an individual deeply devoted to God.  He was also a consummate business professional earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at Ohio State University and served as Vice President and Director of Engineering at various East Coast Transportation Corporations.  He honorably served within the United Stated Air Force Reserve as an Engineer during the country's time of need.  Throughout all, he was loving, devoted, patient and kind.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, September 25th at the Christian Apostolic Church, 70101 Atwood Road in St. Clairsville, Ohio from 10 am -12 pm.  A ceremony will follow led by his brother, Pastor Daniel Ponzani and Reverend Stephen Scalzetti.  Burial will be held post ceremony at the St. Clairsville Union Cemetery, 211 Maple Ave, St. Clairsville, OH 43950.
