Obituary
Gary A. “Pappy Hart” Eberhart, Sr., 81, of Cadiz, passed away at his home on Friday, February 10, 2023 after a short illness surrounded by his family. He was born January 11, 1942 in Harrison County, Ohio a son of the late Williard and Esther McKibben Eberhart.
He was the retired owner/operator of Gary Eberhart Trucking.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his wife, Bonnie L . Davis Eberhart; his daughter-in-law, Lynie Eberhart; 3 brothers: Craig, Ronald and Donald Eberhart; and his companion, Beverly O’Hara
Surviving are a son, Gary A. Eberhart, Jr., of Cadiz; 2 daughters: Becky (Mark) Brandon and Jodi Eberhart of Cadiz; grandchildren: Brandon (Jess) Eberhart, Brooke (Robby) Hall; Kristina (Matt) Warf; Michala Saffell and Shae Saffell; great grandchildren: Mackenzee Warf, Grayson Hall, Sophie Warf, Bransen Eberhart, Payden Hall and Braden Eberhart; 2 sisters: Patricia LaPorte of New Philadelphia and Peggy (Tom) Hanna of Vermillion, Ohio; and Terra Woodburn and Teresa Slaga.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
