Donn Beckett, Jr.

Donn Lee Beckett, Jr., 79, of Cadiz, formerly of Smithfield, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2021 at Harrison Community-Wheeling Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. He was born February 3, 1942 in Wheeling, West Virginia the son of the late Donn Lee and Dorathea Gallagher Beckett, Sr.

He was a member of the First Church of God in Cadiz; past member and Master of Smithfield Lodge #   182, F.&A.M. and past member and Secretary of the Smithfield Lion’s Club for 40 years. He joined his father and then took over Beckett’s Insurance Agency in Smithfield until his retirement.

Surviving are his wife, Mary L. Migliore; two brothers-in-law, Don (Barbara) Migliore and John Migliore; sister-in-law, Donna (Thomas) Migliore and 3 nieces Christine (Steve) Parker, Michelle (Rodney) Barnes and Erin (Christopher) Burden and a nephew, Shane (Bobbi Jo) Migliore.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
