Fred Romshak

Fred Romshak of Flushing, Ohio left this world on Friday, November 18, three days after his 87th birthday, with his four remaining children at his side. Fred was born in Provident, Ohio on November 15, 1924 to John and Anna Romshak. In 1947 he married the love of his life, Dixie Mozingo and together, they raised 6 children in New Athens, Ohio. Fred was a block and building contractor. Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie, their son, Fred Daniel, and their daughter, Elizabeth Marr. Their remaining children are: Ricki Fulton of Cadiz, Stan Romshak, Roy Romshak and Donna Murphy, all of Flushing. Fred's grandchildren include: Ginger Hoover, Amy Thornton, Michael Marr, Brian, Daniel and Kari Murphy, Ben and Caity Romshak and Kelsey Cullen. There are also 7 great grandchildren. Private blessings with Rev. Pete Tuchek of the House of the Shepherd were held at Holly Memorial Gardens, and Fred was laid to rest next to Dixie, Freddy Boy and Babby.
