David Russell "Rusty" Bell, 64, Cadiz, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in the emergency room at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. He was born February 7, 1947 in Cadiz, Ohio a son of the late George and Estella Bell. He was a retired employee of Harrison Community Hospital and a member of St. James AME Church, Cadiz, Ohio. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by his wife Virginia Elizabeth Johnson Bell and a sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" Golsby. He is survived by 3 sons: David Blanchard of Flushing, Arch (Jackie) Louis Bell, Sr. of Canton and Michael McKinley Bell of Wichita, Kansas; 2 daughters: Desiree Jodet Bell of Cadiz and Rosiland Anne Bell of Akron; 4 grandchildren: Arch Lois Bell, Jr. of Canton and Jolanna Jodet Bell, Joslyn Cherie Bell and Marquiesha Lynne Bell all of Cadiz; 3 great grandchildren: A'Mia Elizabeth Bell, Nazalia E'Chell Bell, and Xzavier Allen Johnson; 9 sisters: Beverly Bell, Mary Cromer, Donna West, Patricia Sims, Sandra Woodard, Betty Graham, and Leah Bell all of Columbus, Phyllis Freeman of Alliance, and Marion "Bobby" Merchant of Elyria, Ohio; 3 brothers: Raymond and Richard Bell of Columbus and George Bell of Alliance; as well as a host of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and close and dear friends. Calling hours will be held Saturday, April 2 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at St. James AME Church, Cadiz with Rev. Charles Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz in charge of arrangements. The memorial guestbook may be signed at www.clark-kirkland.com.
